Accessibility Statement

Accessibility

We want anyone to be able to put a face on a shirt here, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This page says where we are and how to reach us when something is in the way.

What we have done

  • The site targets WCAG 2.1 level AA. Text and controls keep at least 4.5:1 contrast against their background.
  • Everything works with a keyboard: the photo uploader, the face-count buttons, the shirt picker and the cart can all be reached with Tab and operated with Enter or Space.
  • The live preview has a text label describing what it shows, and the picker dialog announces itself to screen readers.
  • Text resizes to 200% without content being cut off. Layouts reflow on phones.
  • Product images carry descriptive alt text.

What still needs work

  • The preview is a canvas image; a screen reader cannot describe where the faces sit in the pattern. We describe it in the alt text and are working on a text summary.
  • Some third-party checkout elements are outside our direct control; we raise issues with the platform when we find them.

How we check

Every new page is run through an automated accessibility audit and then used once with a keyboard only and once with a screen reader before it goes live. The face-preview element is tested the same way after each change, because it is the part of the site most likely to break. We re-audit the whole site twice a year and after any redesign.

Tell us

If any part of the site is hard to use, contact us and say what happened and what you were using. We answer within two business days and fix what we can. If ordering is blocked, we will take the order by email in the meantime.
